Pattern Animals – Spring Rabbit and Hummingbird

How I make these: swatch markers and pick 2 or 3 light and 1 dark. Draw silhouette lightly in pencil. Fill in silhouette with random colors. Outline silhouette in darkest color, then fill with random patterns. Done while watching COUNTING CARS, which I love.

The upcoming (M-rated, gory, NSFW) game BLASPHEMOUS has really got my creative juices flowing…Makes me want to play with scale and groups of characters…and monsters.
Always monsters.

(Seriously, though, this game’s got some of the creepiest monster designs since SILENT HILL.)

So for AAAGES I’ve been trying to render these dragons from my supernovel, which have bodies like pelicans but heads like gazelles/antelopes/elands/whatever.

Now I have 2 of these dragons as main characters in my Greatest Nosferatu Love Story of All Time novel. So I really gotta buckle down, you know?
