I love these programs. I can’t imagine owning a computer without these freeware gems.
- Karen’s Replicator. It backs up what you what, when you want it.
- Everything. My ultimate search engine. No more waiting for that Windows magnifying glass!
- SlickRun. Suddenly, I can load nearly anything with magic words. The single most-used program on my computer.
- RevoUninstaller. More than just a thorough uninstaller, it also makes it easy to manage startup objects that can slow down your loading time.
- CCleaner. Cleans out spare files, helping your computer run faster.
- Defraggler. An easy-to-use disk defragmenter. The built-in Windows one just never worked right for me.
- Irfanview. Lightweight image viewer that’s also good at batch conversion/resizing and renaming.
- FoxIt. Free PDF reader that doesn’t take forever to open.
- Belvedere. Not perfect, but helps me get rid of files gathering dust in my downloads folder.
- CutePDF Writer. Save all kinds of files as PDFs for free!
- NAPS2. Scan. Simply.
- Musicbee. So I finally moved on from WinAmp!
- MusicIP Mixer. Many music plugins aspire to be as good as this discontinued one.
