I’m sorry the scans are ugly, but I did them in non-photo blue (never thinking I’d scan them, they were just stress art). When NPB scans, it’s barely visible (which is great for cleanup, I do it all the time)…so I had to jack up the scans to make ’em visible. But they’re still cute! :3

(actually, they dropped a horror movie right in the middle of “On the Banks of Plum Creek” in the form of LOCUSTS OH SNAP so vampires on the prairie may not be as much of a stretch as i thought)

Finished scanning my grey sketchbook!! Posting pages out of order.
Comic artist Dirk Grundy reminded me in a recent post that caricature is an important skill, too! So instead of aiming for +++ accuracy (like the upper left image), I thought I’d try messing with proportions (like the lower left drawing!). OK, so it’s more like a “portrait charge” (French, look it up) than a hardcore caricature, but still!
