More from our new ward. The gentleman below just occurred to me as being so pale, I started him off all in white pencil.
Slight caricaturing may have happened on the topmost lady.
New faces from the new ward.
We weren’t much impressed by this ward when we previewed it in 2017–no one really said hi to us except for the lady in the lower-right-hand corner. She was the first to greet us in both 2017 and 2018!
(Now we’ve moved in and realized they know they’re awkward and are working on it.)
There’s more ethnic diversity in this ward, that’s exciting.
And the little girl in her polka-dot dress.
…and here’s the missionary’s companion. Plus a cute little girl with a flower in her hair!
These next three posts are the last drawings from our old ward. Yup, we finally decided to attend the congregation we’re actually zoned for… *Sigh*
Anyway, the missionaries spoke that day. Here’s missionary one…
This woman brings us peaches every summer from Utah. She is the peach queen.
My choir boss, plus studies of Mrs. Claus’ fabrics.
See, this cool gal in a wheelchair dresses as Mrs. Claus every December–full on cap, white-edged fur robe, tartan blanket, the whole shebang!
but it’s OK, he’s a member of the Blind Center Choir. As long as he’s awake for the singing, he’s good (he was awake for the singing).
but it’s OK, because she’s blind (a member of the Blind Center Choir, to be precise!). Also she was dressed SO COOL.
Trying to loosen up, make it more caricaturey (or portrait charge-y).
